Roesner Marshall Multispreader Variable Rate Spreading Urea with iPad and New i4M App
As most of you are aware, the Marshall Multispreader launched an MDC App 1-2 years ago which enabled full control and monitoring through Bluetooth compatibility of a Marshall machine with an iPad or iPhone as the screen. This control included, calibration of Loadcells, monitoring of spinner speed and other variables, whilst its big function was to enable full variable rate control through an iPad without the use of other Monitors.
Well we have been playing with this for some time, and only recently has Marshall launched a brand new App to control the Spreader, called the i4M Application.
This new App on the iPad and iPhone has been designed to make it easier and simpler to use for the everyday farmer. We recently tried this with a customer who was spreading Urea with his new Marshall 912T spreader. Images below show the variable rate map Ben Boekeman created in the AFS Case IH Software on the computer, and from here we uploaded it online to the server cloud, on the customers account. From there all we needed to do was to then login to the same account on the i4M app on the iPad and download the map. From there the Marshall spreader varied the rate through communication from the iPad which spoke to the Bluetooth receiver on the Marshall that varied the rate using a Door Actuator.
For more information about the i4M App and the new Marshall technology speak to one of our Sales or Precision Farming people.
This is an easy way to try variable rate for the first time and see instant benefits!
