Grain King unveils MAXIMUS grain bin

FIRST there was the NYREX® chaser bin.
MAXIMUS a new mobile “mother” grain bin made by the renamed Grain King, Cunderdin.
According to company CEO Colin Jorgensen the NYREX® range is the result and evolution of decades of experience combined with a vision to drive efficiency and innovation.
“We deliver top-of-the-line paddock solutions, while upholding a global reputation for quality and Integrity,” he said.
Grain King will build the NYREX® MAXIMUS in two capacity sizes – 160,000 litre (130 tonnes) and 200,000 litre (160t).
“The original bin has been around many years now and it has been long overdue for an upgrade,” Mr Jorgensen said.
“Our product research team have analysed the requirements in the market and responded with these upgrades for a bigger, safer, stronger field bin “The new version has brakes because of the weight of the bins,
making a safer option when towing around the paddocks “It also has a far superior turning circle enabling ease through farm gates, etc, and with the hydraulic wheels, the bin can be moved with 15-20 tonne of grain in it.
“A 22 inch (550mm)-diameter auger is standard for fast discharge, and adjustable flow, if required and it also comes standard with a camera and light kit. According to Mr Jorgensen, the bins are built to withstand the harshest environments with heavy duty materials and ingenious design.

Every NYREX® MAXIMUS bin has as standard:
■ Hydraulic brakes.
■ Five year structural limited warranty.
■ Tandem cushion suspension ensuring a smoother ride for
transport.
■ Flotation tyres, to navigate
boggy paddocks, while reducing
compaction.
■ Flow-adjustable grain doors,
which allows the operator to
control speed of grain flow.
■ Light kit.
■ Camera kit.
■ Adjustable poly spout.
■ Height-adjustable drawbar to help
the operator in transportation through
creeks and rough paddocks.
■ Full length unobstructed internal walkways ensuring safety and
convenience for the operator and ease of clean-out.
■ 550mm (22in) auger.
■ Sight windows.
■ Side-access door.
Recently Grain King formalised its new name replacing Trufab Farm Machinery. The family-run business was established in 1962 and initially was involved with mechanical repairs. But it evolved into a specialist manufacturer of farm machinery. Mr Jorgensen said the name change was made to better reflect the nature of the organisation.
Since 1982 the business has been building grain handling machinery, including its Grain King bins and more recently its NYREX chaser bins and is now among the biggest suppliers and manufacturers of grain handling equipment in Australia.

“With significant recognition coming from our outstanding performance at the 2018 Swedish Steel Awards and our expansion throughout Australia and overseas, we wanted a name that better reflected what we did,” he said. “Our customers know us as Grain King so it makes sense for us to capitalise on the use of that name as we expand into new territories. “We will continue to market the brands NYREX and
Truchaser.”
