The New Shire of Wongan Ballidu General Practitioner Dr Ajit Chaurasia dropped by yesterday to see Boekemans Dealer Principal Stuart Boekeman who was Chairman of the Shire GP Recruitment Committee.
Dr Chaurasia commences this Monday 23rd September at the Wongan Hills Medical Centre, tel 96 711 000. A fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Ajit has extensive medical experience in all aspects of general medicine. He holds special interests and expertise in Cardiology, Renal Medicine, Dermatology and Geriatric Medicine.
Dr Chaurasia enjoys the challenges of rural medicine having previously practiced at the Mount Barker and Kojonup Medical Centres and will be joined in Wongan Hills by his wife Audrey and 2 young children.
