Boekeman Machinery attended this year’s WANTFA demonstration day held in Goomalling. At this event the company took two JCB machines, those machines being a JCB 426HT wheel loader (demo) and a Fastrac 8330 (brand new). Also in attendance were a handful of Boekeman machinery representatives; Stuart Boekeman (WH), Ewan McLintock (WH), Leith Johnson (DO) and Peter Crippen (DO). The event ran from around 9:30am till 2pm with an hour’s lunch in the middle. There were several other companies there Including McIntosh, AFGRI and Bednar.
After a full on morning with lots of interesting talks. We moved on to Boekeman machinery where Dowerin based machinery salesman; Leith Johnson gave an excellent walk around of the JCB Fastrac 8330, informing the crowed about its great features. Some of them being the official JCB 3m wheel spacing, 70KPH top speed, Australian designed air-conditioning system, full spring and shock absorber suspension, four corner disk brakes with ABS and many more. These features make the Fastrac a great spraying and chaser bin tractor.
After this Wongan Hills based precision faming specialist; Ewan McLintock gave an outstanding walk around of the JCB 426HT. After lightening the mood by crack a few jokes, one being “just like me this machine was made in England, however it is far well-built than I am”. Ewan traversed along the machine showing the crowed some of its amazing features than make it stand out well and truly from the competition. Some of the features being; 3m3 cab giving the machine one of the largest in its class, like the Fastrac an Australian designed A/C system, 152HP Cummins engine linked to a Fully Automatic ZF transmission, giving seamless gear changes, extremely high powered hydraulics with 264L/m, JCB SRS smooth ride boom suspension and many more fantastic features. Overall the day was a great success for boekeman machinery.
