CASE IH Steigers retain their value better than any other tractor of an equivalent size on the market, according to North America’s EquipmentWatch.
Case IH’s Steiger has won an EquiipmentWatch award for retained value.
EquipmentWatch announced winners in several machinery categories recently, including the ‘Highest Retained Value’ Award where the Case IH Steiger 420 won in the ‘large-wheeled, more than 175hp tractor’ category.
The Award is for the tractor which retains the highest percentage of its original value after a five-year period based on EquipmentWatch’s market activity database.
Case IH Australia/New Zealand Product Manager for High Horsepower Tractors, Alexandria Selsmeyer, welcomed the recognition for what many consider to be the flagship of the Case IH tractor fleet.
“The Steiger is such an iconic machine, with a long and proud history, and its productivity and efficiency benefits are well known. With this award though, we can also prove the value associated with investing in one of these tractors,” Selsmeyer said.
EquipmentWatch said the buyers knew what class and size they needed for their fleets, but the Highest Retained Value award provided the objective validation they needed to select each model with confidence.
A total of 30 categories were represented this year, EquipmentWatch noting “the competition was tight for 2020”, with the winners deserving of “this recognition and the buyer consideration that comes with it”.
