Simplicity owners day in Northam
We had 15 farmers from across our whole area arrive for the Simplicity owners day in Northam. Doug Campbell from Simplicity was the main speaker, supported by Andrew Boekeman and Conor McGuckian in sales, Todd Adams in parts and Brett Asphar in support. We covered the major service areas such as the ZeroMax gearboxes, the various control systems, and T-box drive system. Of particular interest and importance was the subject of air kit setup, something that is often not given a lot of though. Doug explained the ideal way to set up the primary and secondary hoses and heads to get the most effective and accurate distribution of product, while minimising blockages. On display were two 12000 Simplicity bins, one tow behind and one tow between, to show and explain the differences between the configurations. Both machines have been set up with small seed kits for canola seeding, an increasingly popular addition for increased accuracy at low rates, as well as freeing up a main product bin for additional fertiliser. A big thank you to all our customers for attending, and we hope you learnt something that will make your seeding a bit easier.
