Congratulations to Tom Bryan – Gold award for Apprentice Heavy Vehicle mechanics
Tom Bryan, Boekeman Machinery Dowerin apprentice has been awarded a gold medal at the recent World Skills Australia regional competition in WA.
Fourth year apprentice Tom Bryan, Boekeman machinery, Dowerin won his medal competing in the heavy vehicle classification.
Tom is keen to pursue a career in the farm mechanisation industry and provides a great example for young people seeking careers in agriculture.
Tom left school after Year 10 at Dowerin and became indentured at Boekeman Machinery where he expects to carry on after finishing his apprenticeship this year.
