It was our absolute honour to partner with Wongan Hills District High School & Wongan Ballidu Shire to celebrate National Tree Day 2020.
Boekeman Toyota are proud to have donated 150 gum trees, wattles and flowering shrubs, which were expertly planted by the school’s Kindy class. The plants will help form an essential wind break for the community garden, while also helping attract birds to keep the insects at bay.
Even though the event was more ‘socially distant’ than years past, it was a fantastic day for all who attended, and a great way to encourage hands on sustainable learning with our future generations.
