What a turn out! Thank you for everyone who attended the 2020 Graeme Peake Memorial Golf Day and thank you again to Nutrien Ag Solutions for their co-sponsorship. We believe it would be safe to assume that a fun day was had by all, both on the course and off.
At the end of the day, our top prize was claimed by Team 19, consisting of Ainsley Hyde, Craig Medlin, Daniel Negus and Kerry Munns. With this being a team put together by the organizers, we were glad to see them do so well. NAGA was taken out by Kirsty’s team for the third year in a row.
There is obviously a lot of work that goes into organizing a day this big so we have a few people to thank. Thank you firstly to the Dalwallinu Golf Club, without your hard work in preparing the grounds and the teams, this day wouldn’t be possible. Thank you to all the volunteers on the barbecues throughout the day and in the kitchen during the night, the sausage sizzles were a much needed reprieve in that cold wind. Due to the large turnout we required a much larger facility than previous years, so thank you to the Shire of Dalwallinu for the donation of the Recreation Centre. Lastly, thank you to the people behind the scenes.
