Why Choose A Career in the Agricultural Sector?

Farming is absolutely essential to life in Australia – it’s something that impacts every single one of us, day in and day out. Anyone working in agriculture can affirm how rewarding and exciting it is to be part of such a vital industry.

Of course, Australia’s agricultural industry is also an economic powerhouse, generating around $150 billion each year. In 2021, the demand for agricultural output continues to grow thanks to our rising population and ever-expanding export market. Agriculture is a fast-paced field that is continually evolving, integrating the latest technological developments and techniques.

While each career in the industry has its own set of requirements, there is no need to come from any specific background to work in the agricultural sector. From salespeople to technicians, there’s a place for everyone in Australia’s most essential (and exciting) industry.
