Our Family Owned Agricultural Machinery operations are located in some of the safest and most reliable grain growing areas of Western Australia. The Business is positioned in very family friendly locations within the State, the operations are modern, staff are enthusiastically motivated, and the equipment range sold is very innovative and technologically advanced in the agricultural industry. 

Boekeman Machinery has operated for over 50 years and has during this history represented the Case IH product and more recently expanded its product range to include respected Brands such as; JCB, Ausplow (DBS), Simplicity and many more.

The Boekeman business is searching for a motivated person whom is interested in building and developing a career in Equipment Sales. The appropriate person will be strongly focused at building relationships internally and externally of the business, is detail orientated and is prepared to apply the necessary energy to develop their professional sales career in this extremely exciting industry.

This role would prefer some agricultural knowledge, however there is no experience necessary, as training and mentoring will be provided.

Role involves but not limited to:

– Building relationships with clients

– Visiting farms regularly within your area and meeting clients to assess farming
needs

– Demoing new machinery as required

– Attending field days and trials as required

– Appraising used machinery

– Quoting and Selling New and Used Machinery

An opportunity has arisen for an additional Parts Consultant to join the team at one of our Agricultural dealerships located in Dowerin. This job will include face to face parts sales, warehouse stock and maintenance as well as ordering.

Boekeman Machinery has been operating for over 55 years, and established themselves within the agricultural market with a strong and respected name providing services to a loyal customer base. We are looking for a dynamic team player to join, what at times, can be a fast paced environment.

Previous experience in parts or retail preferred but not essential. You will need to have interest within the agricultural industry, excellent people skills, Problem solve and be able to carry out a wide variety of duties and be computer literate. Forklift license preferred but not essential.

  • Job will be offered as 40 hour week with seasonal overtime
  • Training will be provided to the successful candidate in our specific products.
  • Wage will be negotiated with the successful applicant, dependent on experience and qualifications

Boekeman Machinery – Northam Branch is seeking a Agricultural Service Technician who has a genuine interest in our products including Case IH, JCB, Hardi, Simplicity and Flexicoil.

Experience within the agricultural machinery field is preferable, but not essential as Boekeman Machinery continually undertakes franchise related training and on the job training.

You will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills, and have the ability to provide professional support to our customers. The job includes both workshop and in field service.

Job Requirements:

-Australian Recognised Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Plant Mechanic;

-Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following procedures;

-Demonstrated strength in diagnostics;

-Proficient verbal and written communication skills;

-Ability to carry out manual labour including repetitive lifting;

-Valid driver’s license is required;

-Fork lift license preferred.
